Spectrum Noir May Challenge - Flowers

How about getting a little crafty with us over at Spectrum Noir?!

May Spectrum Noir Challenge is: Use Flowers. It can be flower anything! Stamps, paper, flower patterns, flower sentiment, whatever. So grab your favorite Spectrum Noir or Spectrum Aqua coloring tools and make it happen.

I thought it would be fun to show a little bit of Arizona for my challenge sample. This is a new stamp set from Mama Elephant called Potted Pretties. It's so fun!

I colored with Spectrum Noir Markers:
Cactus CG1, CG3, LG5, GG3
Flowerpot BT2, BT4, BT5, BT9, GG3

For my "flower" I used a sequin with a crystal rhinestone in the center. The image is cut out with the matching die. I cut like 3 more from white cardstock and stacked the layers to give the image piece thickness.

The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed. To make the "faux" window, I used a stitched arched tag die and just ran it through my die cutting machine to emboss it only. Such a great way to add texture without the layers.  This is a super clean and simple design, which I completely LOVE.

I sure hope you have time to join us for the challenge. It's easy, fun, and you gave a chance to win a prize! Get all the details and enter the challenge HERE. We can't wait to see what you create!
